September 2023 Round-Up

September 2023 Round-Up

Following on from our very successful & not to mention busy bank holiday sale at the end of August we've had a very busy month with masses of new stock coming in just in time for the run up to Christmas

ReplacingPieces is one of the few tableware matching companies that stock and actively search for crystal and glassware pieces. We pride ourselves on our extensive collection of patterns from over 20 manufacturers, including Waterford, Edinburgh, and Stuart. However, sourcing the right patterns can be a little more challenging when it comes to crystal. Unlike the majority of tableware pieces, crystal does not have the design name etched or marked onto the piece. Therefore, we rely on our archives, manufacturers' literature, and personal knowledge to correctly identify some of the pieces we find!

We were very pleased to source a variety of the Royal Brierley 'Honeysuckle' design this month. Introduced in 1987, the 'Honeysuckle' design quickly became of Royal Brierleys more popular patterns, with a intricate opaque cut highlighting the delicate shape of the design. A wide variety of pieces were produced, including not only drinkware, but decorative & functional pieces too.

This is one of the more unusual vases produced in the Honeysuckle pattern, ideal for floral arrangements or as a stand alone piece

The company has held a Royal Warrant since 1919, meaning it has been an official supplier of glassware to the British royal family for many years. This is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of Royal Brierley's products.
