Barratts was fully established in 1943, although it had been previously operating as Gater, Hall & Co. it changed it's name once William Barratt took control.

Perhaps better known for it's wide variety of earthenware designs, versatility, and competitive pricing, unfortunately towards the late 1980's the company got into financial difficulty and was eventually wound up
