Variations in colour can occur during the manufacturing process. This is highly unlikely in more recent times, but if you are looking for items in a pattern 20 years or older, it can be expected that certain manufacturers, or patterns with hand applied decoration may have variations in depth and/or strength of colour.   A prime example would be Denby Pottery. A Word About Condition

Due to the nature of supplying discontinued tableware, it naturally follows that to source the items, they would usually be previously owned. It is quite unusual to find an obsolete piece that is unused   We only search for and supply the best condition items we can find, however as nearly all items are previously owned, there will be varying degrees of signs of use/wear.
